Just done in pencil and a bit of crayon (that I stole from my kid). I totally got inot textures in this one :)

It's a combination of pencil and crayon. All the shades that are darker than the "base" texture are a black crayon.

All of my paper is geared towards inking with a brush, so it's pretty smooth and it was hard to get any sort of texture...I ended-up roughing up the crayon a bit before using it :)

By the way, I wanted to compliment you on the nice "The Marquis" pin-up you did for Guy Davis. Very nice.; 10:55 AM
