I was asked about doing a book that I thought was a Dark Crystal spin off. I figured I should try my hand at something similar before making a decision so I did these two drawings in my sketchbook and sent them in...turns out that the original project had nothing to do with Dark Crystal (a miscommunication in the e-mail) but after seeing the samples Archaia folks thought I might be a good fit for Dark Crystal, so they got the two pieces colored and I believe will now try to present them to Jim Hansen Company to see if they want me to work on Dark Crystal.
Sounds like a lot of "IF" is involved, but weirder things have happened to me before.
One of my artists in ERS worked on concept art for Dark Crystal II film. So, it might be a hot property soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
