One-A-Day #62...and going APE

Ok, so I think the Starlin spell is broken :) Here is a sketch of Swamp Thing...does anyone remember the great first 10 issues of Swamp THing by Wrightson?

I have also made arrangements to attend APE in San Francisco (October 17 and 18)...possibly the second double sized Robotika issues might be there as well.

Love the texture in this, Alex. Really nice.

Hey, do you know when the Robotika HC is coming out?

Hi Jason,

Thank you for the kind words :)

As far as Robotika goes...I am told that the second double sized issue is going to the printers this week and that I need to put together the second collection "the sooner the batter". My hope is that it's going to be out before the end of the year.

It sort of sounds like Archaia might have some non-Robotika work that they would like to consider me for (possibly)...I guess we'll see what might happen.

On another comic book note, I visited a local comic shop and bought a new Punisher Annual illustrated by Jason Pearson (!). I always liked his work and it is nice to see him doing comics again.

Leif!

Cool of you to stop by and thank you for the encouragement :)

You know, talking about posting new things on the blog, I would love to see more pictures of goings on in your household and more Lief Jones Art Goodness.

By the way, I read the Punisher Annual...it is tied into current Marvel wide crossover, so I had only the most basic idea of what was going on, but it was kind of fun. SpiderMan was being mind controlled to either "kill" or "love" the Punisher and it made for some good action scenes and some funny stuff as well. Pearson's art is excellent, he got a unique style and he has a great sense of composition. It was my only book this week, but it was a good one.
