One-a-Day #68
One of the pages where a couple of things get put on the same evening. First up a couple of mummy head shot straight out of National Geographic and down below a little floating guy...in a bubble
Brian, What a great idea!! Mummies Around the world! I love it. A long time ago, Dan Vado of Slave Labor Graphics suggested that he and I would do a book called "Love Comes to Zombie Town"...regretfully at the time I did not see the fun that such a book would contain, so I did not do it, but now....
Charles, Thank you. The "monolith" is also based on something I saw in National Geographic (it was more Egyptian in the magazine). I really got into the texturing on the rocks.
I am the writer and artist of "Robotika", and an illustrator of "Dark Crystal" comic books, both being published by Archaia Studios Press. This blog, "Moonstruck", is a record of my journey as I work on comics and learn, learn, learn...and learn. Hope you enjoy the pictures :)

Awesome. You should do a series of mummies. With refs from the Spanish, Roman and French catacombs.
love the design in the last panel.
